dream high.

i've been obsessed with the korean drama 'Dream High' lately. so so good :)
i was talking to P tonight, and we were saying how there were so many famous korean singers out there who are younger than us, and it makes us feel so.. fail. LOL it's like, they're already out there at such a young age making such a good living, and we're just sitting at home, or in our lectures, reading about their success.

i've been thinking lately, how awesome it would be if i was talented. i would love to be able to sing well, and play a musical instrument well. i mean, i've played musical instruments before, but i've never been good at it, couldnt get things quick enough, so i gave up. while watching 'dream high' just before, there was something they said that made me think. 'being talented isn't everything.. hard work is just as important for success.'

recently, i've really wanted to play the guitar for some reason. i never used to like the guitar. but now, i really feel like learning how to play. maybe hard work, passion and determination is all i need to succeed? gosh, that sounds so cheezy. but true. no?
