my new beginning.

so, i've finally succumbed to 'peer pressure' and made a blogspot. i'm finally letting go of my ancient xanga blog, and making a fresh new start, ready for the new year :)
i was contemplating on whether i should make a tumblr or blogspot. but i've noticed that most people with tumblr have really short posts, and some post multiple times a day, and have a lot of pictures. i, for one, am not really the type to take the time to search for nice photos and post them up. which comes from the lazy streak in me. and this is why i've decided on blogspot over tumblr.
i won't be blogging every day.. more so just every so often, when i feel the need to rant, or when i have a lot on my mind and just need a place to let things out. and maybe even on the odd occasion, i'll be... un-lazy enough to post some pictures of some sort. :)
and why not start with today?
lets see.. why did i choose the blog link that i did? imploding star. i was inspired by a song by one of my idols; BoA. from her most recent album Hurricane Venus, i named my blog from one of my favourite ballads, 한별, with the english title 'Implode'. with my limited korean, i am lead to believe that the korean name, 한별, means 'one star'. and hence, imploding-star. :) and to finish off, the album cover of Hurricane Venus :)
